History
Success (1962 - 2006)
Mount Pleasant is the most successful team in the HDFL and has been for a long time now winning 17 premierships and been crowned runners-up 7 times. It has had a massive amount of success in the HDFL and has always been a consistent team winning flags back to back on more than one occasion and have also been runners-up back to back on more than one occasion as well. However their success has died down in the recent era having not won a flag or been runner-up in over 10 years which is the biggest drought of success in the clubs history. The club has the biggest success story in the HDFL and has a lot of tallent coming through the senior team as well as have lot of time to find their feet because a lot of teams wont be able to grasp their kind of success in the past years. Especially for a town as small as Toolleen.
The Future (2010 - Present)
Since 2006 Mount Pleasant haven't played in a Grand Final, and have only featured in the finals three times. Despite this they have a very talented team and are always a tough team to play home or away and have got a lot of history behind them which not all teams have in the HDFL.

Rivalries
Because of the small sized football league rivalries are few and far between and most teams aren't overly aggressive towards another team, however Mount Pleasant's biggest rivals are Heathcote having played many Grand Finals against Heathcote. Also its other rival is Colbinabbin having a lot of history between the two teams.
